Organisation Memberships

The Organisations section of your account shows every organisation your account is connected to, and lets you join, leave and decline organisations yourself — without needing an administrator to do it for you.

View Your Memberships​

The Organisations list shows two kinds of membership:

  • Active memberships — organisations you've joined. Each row shows the organisation and your role in it.
  • Pending invitations — organisations you've been invited to but haven't joined yet.

Join an Organisation You've Been Invited To​

When someone invites you to an organisation, it appears in your list as a pending invitation.

  1. Open Manage Account → Organisations.
  2. Find the pending invitation.
  3. Choose Join to accept it.

The organisation moves to your active memberships and you can switch into it.

Two ways to accept

You can accept an invitation either from this list or by clicking the link in the invitation email. Both add you to the organisation. See Inviting Users for what the invitation emails look like.

Decline a Pending Invitation​

If you don't want to join an organisation you've been invited to:

  1. Find the pending invitation in your Organisations list.
  2. Choose Decline and confirm.

Once declined, the invitation no longer shows in your list.

If a Declined Invitation Is Sent Again​

If you decline an invitation and an administrator later resends it, the pending invitation reappears in your list, and you can join it as normal.

Leave an Organisation​

You can step away from an organisation you've joined:

  1. Find the active membership in your Organisations list.
  2. Choose Leave and confirm.

Leaving removes your membership and your access to that organisation. You can be invited back later.

When You Can't Leave​

To stop an organisation from being left without an administrator, you can't leave an organisation if you're its last (or only) Org Admin. Promote another member to Org Admin first (see Managing Roles), then leave.

When You Don't Belong to Any Organisation​

You can sign in and use your account even when you have no organisation memberships at all — for example, before you've accepted your first invitation, or after leaving your last organisation.

In that case, after signing in you land on a simplified page with no main navigation. It explains that your account isn't part of any NeonNow Admin app organisation yet and offers two actions:

  • Manage Account — open your account to manage your profile, security, preferences and any pending invitations.
  • Sign Out — sign out of the NeonNow Admin app.

From there, you can accept a pending invitation (if you have one) or ask an administrator to invite you. As soon as you join an organisation, the full Admin layout becomes available.
